Dear All,
See below re ECVP/ESVP meeting in Torino, confirming what we knew.
We will continue to follow the news from Italy closely but they do seem to have it bad (for some weird reason..) and have now overtaken S Korea for cases.
Simon

ESVP: Important Message
Dear Dr. Simon Priestnall,
As you will be aware, there have been many meetings in both the scientific world and beyond that have been either postponed or cancelled due to the current spread of Coronavirus infection/COVID-19.
The ESVP board and the local organisers of the Cutting Edge Pathology meeting in Torino in August 2020 have been discussing the situation; we are investigating options and a decision as to whether the congress will go ahead or be postponed for 12 months will be taken at the beginning of May; registration for the meeting and abstract submission will not be opened until this decision is made.
We hope you appreciate the need to consider carefully the best plan of action, and thank you for your understanding regarding the delay in making this decision.
Yours sincerely,
Gail Leeming, Honorary Secretary ESVP
