The Davis-Thompson Foundation is proud to announce our July 10th free Friday seminar - "Insights into Ocular Pathology". This seminar, presented by Ingeborg M. Langohr, DVM, PhD, DACVP, Professor of Anatomic Pathology at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, will provide an overview and introduction to ocular pathology with a selection of developmental, degenerative, inflammatory, and neoplastic ocular diseases. It is aimed at trainees and other individuals who have not had much experience with this unique field within pathology. Fundamentals of Toxicology and Toxicologic Pathology - 15 Jul - a bilingual virtual seminar!

Well here is another Foundation first! In conjunction with the Latin Comparative Pathology group and the Brazilian Association of Veterinary Pathology, the Foundation is proud to present its first BILINGUAL free virtual seminar, broadcast simultaneously in English and Portuguese. On 15 July, from 6-10PM Brasilia time (GMT-3.00) (5PM EDT, 2PM PST), Dr. Brad Bolon, DVM, PhD, DACVP will lecture on “Fundamentals of Toxicology and Toxicologic Pathology". The lecture will be in English and simultaneous Portuguese translation will be available. For the last several years, Dr. Bolon's talk has been an integral part of the Foundation's annual General Pathology Review course, and its a great time to listen to one of the finest minds in the field. Invitation for tomorrow's free Friday seminar on Interstitial Pneumonia

The Latin Comparative Pathology Group is pleased to present our first Free Friday Seminar in July - "Interstitial pneumonia: Causes, mechanisms of damage and examples in veterinary medicine" This lecture is presented by Dr. Francisco Carvallo, DVM DSC, DACVP, Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. The date is 3 July 2020 at 1200PM EDT Interstitial pneumonia is a pulmonary pattern that represents damage to either pneumocytes of alveolar capillary endothelium. Cases of interstitial pneumonias are frequently associated with viral infections, but the spectrum of etiologies is much broader and not frequently considered at the moment of interpretation. The mechanisms, stages and significant histologic findings will be discussed, in order to better understand this frequently enigmatic pattern.
