*Clinical Track Faculty Position in Veterinary Clinical Pathology* The Department of Veterinary Biosciences <https://vet.osu.edu/biosciences> (VBS), College of Veterinary Medicine <https://vet.osu.edu/> (CVM) at The Ohio State University <https://www.osu.edu/> (OSU), is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time clinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor-Clinical. The position is predominantly clinical service and teaching with an opportunity for collaborative research. The distribution of effort is negotiable and depends on the interests of the candidate. Responsibilities: 1. Diagnostic service (approximately 45%): Clinical service responsibilities include interpretation of in-house cytology, digital cytology, hematology, coagulation, endocrinology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis, point-of-care tests, and flow cytometry; consultations with clinicians regarding laboratory results or sample submissions; support to the clinical pathology technical staff; new test development; and maintenance of quality assurance. These services will be divided amongst a team of 3 clinical pathologists. 2. Teaching (approximately 25%): The faculty member will participate in clinical training of veterinary students in Clinical Pathology and pathology residents in the Combined Clinical Pathology Residency/PhD Graduate Training Program. Didactic teaching responsibilities will include participation in the professional veterinary medical curriculum and in the courses provided to pathology residents in the Combined Pathology/PhD Program. 3. Research and scholarly activity (approximately 30%): The faculty member will contribute to collaborative research and scholarly activities synergistic with the College’s research, teaching, and clinical service missions. Qualifications: Applicants must have a DVM (or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited or equivalent institution and be board certified in clinical pathology by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists or the European College of Veterinary Pathologists or take the board exam within 12 months after starting the position. An overarching component of this position is training and mentoring students in a combined residency/PhD program, and so a PhD or a strong record of advanced research experience is desirable. The successful applicant must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, prioritize collegiality, and demonstrate effectiveness in teamwork. The Department comprises 25 faculty, including 9 Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (6 certified in anatomic pathology and 3 certified in clinical pathology), and combines the disciplines of oncology, immunology, virology, microbiology, physiology, and anatomy. The College is a member of the most comprehensive Health Sciences Center in America, which includes on a single campus the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Dentistry, Optometry, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences. The Washington State University (WSU) Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology (VMP) and the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is inviting applicants to fulfill a faculty position opening in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. *Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Anatomic Pathology* *University of Wisconsin-Madison* The Department of Pathobiological Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine, is seeking candidates for a *clinical**-, **teaching**-, or **tenure-track *anatomic pathology faculty position. Across all positions, there is a 60% expected effort for clinical diagnostic biopsy and necropsy service/clinical teaching, with variable percentage distributions for teaching pre-clinical veterinary students (e.g. 2nd-year pathology courses), collaborative research, and academic service responsibilities. The clinical- and teaching-track positions are open for applicants at all levels (assistant, associate, and full professors), but due to the significant clinical service component (60% effort), the tenure track-position accepts applicants for the associate and full professor levels only. The minimum requirements for the selected candidate include a DVM or equivalent, ACVP or ECVP board certification, and licensure or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin. *Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist – Assistant/Associate – Tenure Track* *Position Summary* The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Colorado State University, is seeking an anatomic veterinary pathologist for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The position involves a 50% commitment to service activities of the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories and a 50% commitment to teaching, research and academic service activities. The effort distribution between research and teaching is negotiable. The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories is an AAVLD-accredited, full service laboratory. Service responsibilities are shared amongst eleven faculty anatomic pathologists from the Department and additional service-only pathologists. The VDL receive animals and surgical specimens from veterinary practitioners, animal owners, the Colorado Division of Wildlife, and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. It also functions as a training site for veterinary students and pathology residents. Teaching commitments include practicum teaching during the necropsy laboratory rotations for veterinary students and pathology residents and hospital surgical rotations for pathology residents and graduate students. Didactic classroom teaching in the undergraduate, graduate and/or professional veterinary medicine curricula of the department also is part of the commitment. Involvement in a collaborative research program is an expectation. Preference will be given to persons with interests and expertise to collaborate with the college’s established Programs of Research and Scholarly Excellence (PRSE). These are the Infectious Disease Research and Response Network, Cancer Biology & Comparative Oncology, the Animal Reproduction & Biotechnology Laboratory, the Musculoskeletal Research Program, and the Molecular, Cellular, & Integrative Neurosciences Program. *Required Job Qualifications* Qualifications for this position include a DVM degree or equivalent and advanced training in anatomic pathology.
