Dear colleagues

Welcome to the April issue of the Davis-Thompson Foundation Newsletter, with the compliments of our great managing editors, Javier Asin and Jeann Leal. Thank you Javier and Jeann!

Please peruse these pages to find free or low-cost training opportunities, face to face and on line, all over the world, in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Mandarin series coming up soon!

Amongst these, I want to highlight CLASS/POLA and CLIIC, the registration for which is now open. Also, there are still a few seats available for the Ruminant necropsy workshop course at University of Nebraska on April 20-21, aimed at trainees and veterinarians who need to brush up their ruminant pathology and necropsy skills. And of course, keep an eye for all of our great virtual seminars.

Volume 6 of the “Surgical pathology of tumors of domestic animals” series (Tumors of the nervous system; Dan Rissi Editor) is already at the printers and will be available in our book store very soon. Keep an eye for it.

Last but not least, my heartfelt thank to our fabulous volunteers that perform the daily myriad behind the scene jobs that keep your Foundation running. Thank you all!

Kind regards,
