This lecture, presented by Dr. med. vet. Christiane V. Löhr, PhD., Diplomate ACVP, Fachtierarzt Pathologie, and professor of Pathology at Oregon State University will provide a general review of the main diseases of South American camelids, with special emphasis on those occurring in North America. Gross and microscopic features of these diseases, with special emphasis on diagnostic aspects will be provided, as well as information on species-specific anatomic and physiologic "peculiarities" This seminar will provide useful information for clinicians, trainees and practicing pathologists working with South American camelids.
