Dear colleagues
Welcome to the May issue of the Davis-Thompson Foundation Newsletter, with the compliments of our outstanding Managing Editors, Jeann Leal and Javier
Asin. Thank you Jeann and Javier!
Please peruse these pages to find information on our myriad training activities around the world. Details on all our seminars are also available on
our web page (https://davisthompsonfoundation.org/).
Also, remember that the Descriptive Veterinary Pathology Course, this year in person only, is coming up very soon (May 31-June 4). This will be followed
in June by the Current Literature and Image Interpretation Course (CLIIC) and in July by the Current Laboratory Animal Science Seminar (CLASS) and Pathology of Laboratory Animals (POLA). These outstanding and unique courses provide essential education to trainees
preparing for board certification exams and anybody else interested in learning veterinary pathology. Because of the intense and personalized nature of these courses, seats are limited: consider registering soon while seats last. See more information about
these seminars in this newsletter, or go directly to the Events section in the Foundation’s website.
This month we are proud to introduce a new section of the Newsletter called “Contributors’ corner”, which is inaugurated with a great article on “Descriptions
in Veterinary Pathology” prepared by Dr Simon Spiro, from the Zoological Society of London. Thank you Simon!
Looking forward to seeing everyone in one of our seminars.
Warm regards
