Description
The Department of Comparative Pathobiology in Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University is seeking highly motivated diagnostic anatomic pathology faculty to support our diagnostic pathology and teaching missions. We seek applicants who are successful educators with the ability and desire to mentor residents and DVM students in the art of the necropsy, exhibit strong diagnostic skills, have the ability to interpret samples from a variety of species, and can work closely with and support the clinicians in our hospitals and clinics. Positions may be at the rank of assistant, associate, or professor in the clinical track.
Clinical track faculty members are expected to engage in sufficient research and scholarly activity to remain at the forefront of their discipline. For individuals with the appropriate interests and expertise, opportunities for engagement in independent and collaborative research are available. Collaboration with clinicians to support clinic research is expected as part of the diagnostic service responsibilities.
