Welcome to the October issue of the Davis-Thompson Foundation Newsletter, and again, please join me in thanking our fantastic managing editors, Javier Asin and Jeann Leal for putting together this great edition.

In addition to the announcements for myriad training activities in several different languages in many countries, please make sure you read the message from our Chief Financial Officer, Bruce Williams, about your Foundation’s new “Noah’s Slidebox”, a fantastic collection of tens of thousands of digital histology slides available for free to anyone around the world.

October is also the month of the AAVLD pre-meeting workshop on “Diseases of the Nervous System” with three fantastic speakers, which is being offered in person and virtually. If you will be attending AAVLD in person, remember that registration for the face-to-face version of the seminar can be done on site the day of the seminar in Minneapolis.
