My sincere apologies for sending a private message to the Foundation list - if you missed it, here are the takeaways -
1) I am so proud of what the Foundation is doing - as someone who has been at or near the helm for over thirty years, the amount and global aspect of what the Foundation is doing is better than any time I can remember. 2) People do like to participate in our courses - either as students or volunteer instructors - and its so fantastic to see how many people are taking the opportunity to give back - I wish you could see all the people behind the scenes whose faces aren't on these flyers - it's even more and they are working just as hard. (And by the way, how can YOU help the Foundation?!!! We'd love to hear it.) 3) We are very careful stewards of the Foundation's funds, so that we can continue the great work for many years to come. We are a 'working foundation" - we have no endowments, so whatever we make in donations, course tuition, and the little profit on our publications (we keep them at rock bottom prices) funds our activities around the world. It's a labor of love for all concerned. Thank you for allowing me to correct a simple mistake with an effusive show of appreciation for the Foundation's many volunteers, supporters, and friends - working with the Foundation has been one of my greatest honors and privileges and I truly don't mind if EVERYONE knows! bruce
