Our speaker will be Kevin Keane. Kevin is the lead pathologist for the Danish pharmaceutical Novo Nordisk Stem Cell Unit based at the company’s main research campus near Copenhagen, Denmark. Kevin works with his fellow scientists on assessing the safety and efficacy of human embryo-derived stem cell-based therapies for Type I diabetes, Parkinson Disease, Macular Degeneration, and Heart Failure among other diseases. Kevin is involved in the pathology assessment of their in-house efficacy models and external CRO partners.
