StageBio is seeking a full-time, experienced, board-certified veterinary pathologist to join our growing Medical Device team. Experience in medical device pathology not required and mentoring will be provided. Remote work eligibility is based on level of experience. Primary Responsibilities Include: - Serve as Principal Investigator and Study Pathologist for microscopic and macroscopic tissue assessment and reporting of anatomic pathology findings in both GLP and Non-GLP preclinical studies. - Collaborate with other StageBio Pathologists in multi-specialty preclinical studies and participate in internal and external peer reviews. - Work closely with laboratory personnel, overseeing trimming, imaging and histology conduct. Occasional trimming of study tissues. - Ensure GLP compliance for all work performed. - Interact with Study Directors/clients as needed. - Maintain continuing education through professional association affiliations, participation in relevant conferences and/or publication efforts. - Participate in Pathology Peer Review as needed. - Capture and annotate photomicrographs for inclusion in pathology reports. Requirements: - DVM/VMD degree and ECVP/ACVP (Anatomic Pathology) board certification.
