Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology UE08 / UE09 The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, wishes to appoint a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Pathology. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and international team and to contribute to the further development of the diagnostic pathology service, teaching of pathology, and the School’s research programme. You will make a significant contribution to research in this field, develop strong collaborative research links both within and outside the School and make a significant contribution to postgraduate education. You will be based in the new Veterinary School building, opened in 2011 in the Easter Bush Campus, ideally located at the foot of the gorgeous Pentland hills. Interaction with colleagues across the range of disciplines will offer you the stimulation and support required to further develop your interests and career ambitions. You will hold a veterinary degree and will be an MRCVS (or eligible to become an MRCVS). You will be qualified in veterinary anatomic pathology to diploma level (e.g. DipECVP, DipACVP or FRCPath), although Board-eligible candidates are also encouraged to apply. Practical experience in the delivery of a diagnostic anatomic pathology service is essential. Experience in teaching and research are strongly desirable.
