Instructor/Adjunct Faculty in Clinical Pathology, Colorado State University

We are pleased to announce a Clinical Pathology Contract, Continuing, Adjunct (CCA) faculty position at Colorado State University with potential to hire in at the rank of instructor, or assistant professor commensurate with experience. This non-tenure-track faculty position is intended for experienced boarded clinical pathologists or those recently finishing a clinical pathology residency who are interested in refining and expanding their diagnostic, laboratory management, and clinical research skills, and to support the clinical pathology service and teaching mission of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. CSU offers a large, varied caseload, on-site access to advanced evaluation techniques including immunocytochemical staining, cytochemical staining, flow cytometry, PARR, and advanced protein evaluation, among others. The position includes interaction with 7 board-certified clinical pathologists, 5 clinical pathology/graduate degree trainees, collaboration with an active Clinical Hematopathology service and opportunities to help expand/develop coagulation testing and immunocytochemistry services. Qualified candidates will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) and have completed an ACVP or ECVCP certified clinical pathology residency training program. Candidates must be eligible for a Colorado academic veterinary license. Both ACVP/ECVCP board eligible and ACVP/ECVCP Diplomates are encouraged to apply.
