Beyond the Backbone: Invertebrate Pathology Day Seminar <https://davisthompsonfoundation.org/event/beyond-the-backbone-invertebrate-p...> The Davis-Thompson Foundation will be hosting the 2nd, biannual, Invertebrate Pathology Seminar on September 27, 2024. This one day, completely virtual, seminar will include case presentations and a keynote lecture by Dr. Michelle Dennis, Associate Professor at University of Tennessee, and co-guest editor of the special issue of Veterinary Pathology on Invertebrate Pathology. Dr. Dennis’s research focuses on aquatic invertebrate diseases, and will be highlighted in her presentation titled “Emerging Diseases in Wild Aquatic Invertebrates.” Following the keynote presentation, the seminar will feature 15 minute case presentations on the gross and microscopic pathology of air, land, and aquatic invertebrates.
