We appreciate that The Ohio State University is acting with abundant caution in the face of the expanding COVID-19 outbreak in the US and we certainly understand their position. The uncertainty surrounding this global event is unfortunate, but we are confident that in retrospect, this will prove to be a prudent decision. The local course director, Dr. Krista LaPerle, and the course faculty have requested the opportunity to host this course in 2021, and we have already agreed. We understand how important this course is to pathology residents and graduate students studying for certification examinations around the globe.
