Kind words, if phrased awkwardly... ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Alan Wolfe <alan.wolfe@ucd.ie> Date: Fri, Aug 7, 2020 at 5:49 AM Subject: Re: Look, I'm not going to BEG you to tune in and learn something... To: Bruce Williams <bruce.h.williams.dvm@gmail.com> Thanks for the heads-up Bruce. I heard John speak last year in Spain and definitely learnt some things. I'll be doing my darndest to get time to tune in again today for a refresher. These online seminars organised by yourself and the other folks at the foundation (sounds like an Asimov book) have been fantastic learning resources. I know I'm not alone in really appreciating all the background work that has gone into them. The reputation of the US may have been badly tarnished in recent years by certain prominent politicians, but the US still leads the world in some areas, and this is one of them. Thanks once again. Don't miss our Free Friday Seminar this Friday, August 7th...
Professor Emeritus John Cullen of North Carolina State University will be discussing "Chronic Hepatitis in Animals" It's a great lecture on how to approach liver biopsies - "Is this chronic liver disease or not? What caused it?"
If you have ever looked at a liver biopsy and scratched your head, you need to see this lecture. This seminar will provide an overview of the known and suspected causes of chronic hepatitis with an emphasis on the dog. Diseases that can clinically mimic chronic hepatitis will also be discussed. Write down this link, and the room opens on Friday at 1145 and the guru of all things liver starts at 1200 noon EDT (New York Time).
