No problem ;)) We'll have the experiment for the October schedule then. I'll work on the video instruction this weekend! Em sex., 4 de set. de 2020 às 10:48, Laura Setyo <l.setyo@surrey.ac.uk> escreveu:
Hi,
I’ve only got Adobe Premiere Rush which is a “Lite” version of Adobe Premiere, so I don’t think that would work, but I can try with Windows Movie Maker. It’s too late notice for me to do today’s video in the next 48 hours, but once we have established the schedule for October, I am happy to put myself down to do this for at least one of the webinars. Is there a video tutorial or guide somewhere on how to do this (even if it’s using another program)?
Thanks,
Laura

Thanks Will and Marie!
These other programs may work indeed. It's just because the free versions I've tried before left a watermark on the videos or had limited tools.
And, for our diagnostic rotation material, I had to get a fancier program with extra features anyways.
Laura, would you be willing to try and edit today's video? If so, Marie could delegate that to you and see if it works ;)

I've used Adobe Premiere - it's not as user friendly as the others. But I can assist with that!

I have heard of people using Video Maker or Adobe Premiere. I know none of them 4 though when it comes to using them. If someone else in the group knows some of those (Bruce?), maybe he can show you. Otherwise you can just try it out!

Hi all,
I don’t have access to Movavi Academic or Camtasia, but I have access to the following video editing programs. Is one of them suitable for this? If not, I may need to step down from that role.
- Panopto - Windows Movie Maker - Adobe Premiere Rush - VideoScribe
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura S.,
Thanks for that and for your suggestion!
I will arrange this video editing instructions.
One thing that I will go ahead and say is that you need a good video editor program for that.
I use Movavi Academic, and Marie and Bruce use Camtasia.
You need to pay for those, so if someone already has any of those programs it makes it easier.
For the next video editing, I can record my screen and show how I usually do it.

Hi,
Thanks Rachel for organising this and very proud to have you chairing our committee – I don’t envy you this, it looks like it will be a lot of work but we are here to help!! 😊
I’ve put myself down for Moderating and Certificate Filling as I’m comfortable with these roles. I’m interested in learning how to edit the videos, so have put myself down for that, but will need guidance. I think *Laura Bassel* was interested in learning how to do this too, so maybe we could organise a recorded session where someone takes us through that together, when the time comes? (& then create a written guide / SOP?)
Also, it’s great that for each role we have 1+ person responsible as it is always good to have a backup for those “just in case” scenarios 😉
Thanks,
Laura S

Ok! I put my name also in certificate filling. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
Again, thanks Paco and Bruce for organizing this meeting and for everyone attending today!
I'm feeling positive about the "divide and conquer" tactic for a smooth flow in our committee! 🙂
As promised, the link below contains a spreadsheet with our tasks and the need for volunteers.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sE5VjFDq2lhPfNSVq_O4laejdTlrbZAUd6zu... <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.googl...>
At this point, I believe we all had a little taste of many activities that go into a webinar and can then identify with those we feel most comfortable with.
The main goal is to set "fixed" tasks within the committee and then we'll know who to contact to get something done.
I have added some people that I know are already "solidified" for such duty, and proposed others.
For example, Sofia, I added you to help with the survey monkey links and RACE certificates (the latter is pretty straightforward, sporadic, and I can show you how it is).
But please feel free to change / move your names into other tasks if you feel like!
*I propose we have the chart filled until this Friday (9/4/20) so we can start organizing the groups.*
Thanks and please feel free to bring suggestions or comments 😊
Cheers,
