I want to also express my congratulations as well to Rachel, who does not come by this new posting without a lot of hard work herself.

We have really seen this committee come together and establish something that  our field has never seen before in the last 6 months.  Everyone’s hard work has the rest of the specialty talking and wondering why the other professional organizations are lagging so far behind - you should all be very proud of yourselves.  And don’t believe for a second when the pandemic is done, so are these webinars - it couldn’t be further from the truth.

In the spirit of volunteerism and hard work you have all shown, you are literally transforming the face of pathology education, but I know there are many good ideas out there yet to be realized.

I look forward to next weeks meeting and congratulating Rachel “in person”.

Subject: [Webinar] Welcome new Committee Chair: Rachel Autran

Dear members of the Webinar Committee

Please join us in welcoming Rachel Autran (Neto) as the upcoming chair of the Webinar Committee.

The decision to appoint Rachel as Chair of the committee was taken based on Rachel’s hard work and commitment to the Foundation’s job over the past few months. Of course, the honor comes with more responsibilities for her (and for other members of the committee).

We would like to have a Zoom Committee meeting some time next week to discuss the role of the committee and, hopefully, distribute some more responsibilities amongst its members. Will people please let us know if any of the dates/times suggested below would work?:

Wednesday September 2, 1-4 pm (PST)

Thursday September 3, 3-4 pm (PST)

Thanks

Bruce and Paco
