
Hi folks - I think I’ve found a plugin that will work for our setup. I’ve put in the info for POLA, and you can get an idea of what it looks like here: https://testwp.cldavis.org/?ajde_events=pathology-of-laboratory-animals-2020 I snagged some photos of speakers from online, and I grabbed bio info for Drs. Brayton and Wolf as examples. I’m thinking if we go this way, for future talks we could ask speakers to submit a photo and a short bio, as well as any other links they want to include (Twitter, etc.). All events (of which there’s only POLA right now) are here: https://testwp.cldavis.org/?page_id=71 Finally, this event manager has the ability to add Zoom online meetings, etc. as events - I’ll try and add an upcoming one so we can see what that looks like. While I like that it lets you download events to your calendar, unfortunately as of now it downloads POLA as one event that goes all week rather than the individual talks. I’ve put in a request to see if that’s a feature I’ve missed or if it’s something they’d need to implement. See if you think this looks reasonable or if we need to find something else!
