*Apologies - there was some errant info in the previous version. * *Job Title: Tenure or Clinical Track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Veterinary Anatomic Pathology* *Job Summary* *Position:* The Department of Comparative Pathobiology (CPB) and the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL) at Purdue University-College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a full-time (12-month) Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist. - Tenure or clinical track Assistant/Associate/Full professor - Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with academic record and experience *Qualifications: * - DVM or equivalent degree - Board certification or eligibility by the American or European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP or ECVP) - Service-oriented, client-focused diagnostician with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated ability to work with colleagues, lab staff and others affiliated with the mission of the diagnostic lab - For tenure track, PhD in a related field is required *Responsibilities:* - Diagnostic Service – Perform diagnostic pathology duties including necropsies and biopsies with histopathologic examinations of these cases, writing reports, and consultation and advice to clinical veterinarians, producers and owners. - Teaching – Participate in teaching DVM and Veterinary Nursing students and training of residents/graduate students. - Research – Maintain a program of scholarly activities, which may include participation in collaborative research, providing continuing education/outreach to ADDL constituencies, presentations at local, regional, and/or national meetings, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. - Contributing to shared committee work and other assignments, as needed. *Application Process * *To be considered, each application should include:* 1) Curriculum vitae 2) Summary/statement of teaching and diagnostic service experiences and philosophical perspectives 3) Summary of past and future research process or plan 4) Statement of professional contributions to the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion 5) Names and contact information of three professional references Review of applications will start May 30, 2022, and will continue until the position is filled.
